Are you having trouble falling asleep? Afraid that insomnia got you in its clutches? Nothing is more frustrating when you know that you’re body is tired but your mind is still awake and you’re unable to get a good night’s sleep. It could also bring not only you discomfort but to that someone sleeping beside you. Insomnia is an indication of something, not a medical condition. Loss of proper sleep can bring you more health problems than just what it seems, because sleep helps your body to regenerate, but if it’s constantly interrupted, you will have the risk of getting hypertension, either weight loss or weight gain, and disturbed sleep can also result in daytime fatigue, reduced alertness and forgetfulness.

So what can we do to give ourselves that much need rest?
1.	Make sure that your bedroom is conducive to sleep, well ventilated and and diffused noise if possible. You can always make the use of ear plugs, just keep everybody around you that you’re wearing one just in case of emergency.
2.	You can also take a warm bath before sleeping, because this will make your muscles and body relaxed, and feeling fresh.
3.	A warm cup of milk can also help.
4.	A soothing music can also help you induce sleep.
5.	Stay away from caffeine, nicotine or any alcohol before going to bed. Alcohol will only give you more bad headaches or hang over when you wake up.
6.	If possible always get up and go to bed on time, our body can only adapt to a routine when it’s established for quite a long while, it may be hard at first but if you’re really willing to take care of your body, a routine is what you need.

Hope it helps!

Have you ever gone to tradeshows before?

A tradeshow or sometimes we call expositions, where start-up companies of a specific industry, organize a display of their products, it includes demonstrations and free samples, which I enjoy the most because you get to try it out for yourself as oppose to looking at a product on a shelf and not really knowing if it’s really working or not. So what else do I like about tradeshows? Expos have discounted items or product that also comes with a free sampling or free demonstrations; it’s actually for the consumer’s advantage to get the feel and the proof of the products credibility in service. Of course there’s the trade show flooring bearing the logo of the company that completes the professional feel to it, gives you that tingling excitement of being there, it’s more than a welcome to you, it’s more of accepting you in being there alone. I really like it especially when I’m walking on the trade show carpet, and my shoes kind of buries into it, and the smell of newly shampooed carpet (I know I’m weird) is just really nice with the cool aircon blowing in. I dunno, I just like walking on carpets and at home, I like to feel it on my feet, maintenance is another story. Sometimes I also admire how these companies or businesses come up with their logo mats, the designs are just sophisticated and it alone can function as a marketing message it sometimes stick to your mind, like when you see something similar the first thing you think about is that company’s logo mat. I remember going to a tradeshow event where they have these bridal dresses, most of them are made from pineapple threads, have you heard something like it? It was my first time, and the designs are just awesome, when I walked in under the logo canopy, it was like I feel like I’m in heaven, surrounded by wedding gowns. Because of financial constraints and my young age, I didn’t really plan for a wedding dress, all we knew was that we had to celebrate the solemnity of the marriage, but again, that’s for another blog post.

Recently, when I passed by one of the malls here, I saw an announcement for an upcoming even going on regarding home and baby products, and they are holding the exposition soon. Can’t wait to set food in a trade show again!

These aren’t real food, they are Nicole Gastonguay’s crotchet creation. Nicole is a graphic designer who lives in the United States and works at an advertising agency. These miniatures are what she does on her spare time only. She learned this technique alone by reading books and magazines and despite knowing only few key stroke points, she played around crocheting play food, robots, pets and many more. She also sells these online, and accepts orders so if you have a cute design in mind, she might be able to wing that for you. However, for Nicole, this activity will only be for a limited time. She gets her inspirations from Japanese cartoons, Television series, and regular things like the birthday of a close friend. She’s really creative isn’t she?

I’m sure a lot of my readers would agree with me that a trip to vacation somewhere the weather’s cool is heaven! I have been trying to ignore the heat since yesterday afternoon, and man, it’s just nasty. I was sweating all over and I had to take a bath a total of three times before going to bed. Isn’t it supposed to be a rainy season? Sometimes I’d wonder how I would be like if I own a vehicle like one of those motor homes that I see on American movies. Probably I’d be traveling a lot; people say that their first impression on me is that I don’t stay at one place. Well, blame that for being the only child and who grew up with adults in company and bored! I’m sure I’d be visiting really nice vacation places where I can bring my RV, but then what would I be doing for a living? Would I be a travel agent? A travel magazine writer? It should be interesting if I did. Or I’ll just probably live in a motor home and move whenever I feel that my neighbors are being nasty –which some of them are. I mean, why in the world would you be speaking loudly and annoying people? Nobody want’s to hear our love life, let alone your mushy s*x life? So anyway, probably I have written this entry as; top ten reasons to live in a trailer van! LOL!

For my first post about enamels or we popularly call nail polish, let me feature to you Sis Jhoice of Livin’ the Pink Life. She recently got hooked on these creative nail art polishes that she features on her blog, and I have to agree that she’s got a good eye when it comes to color combination and style. What makes a nail art beautiful is putting on the full details as shown here on the photos that I grabbed from her. Peace! ^___^x

Sis Jhoice recently had an obsession with nail polishes and won herself a fairly good taste in nail art, which she does on her own, she diligently works on the decorations on her nails and in addition to her new found craze in nail polish she also found inspirations in designs with animal prints and she’s improving on it too!

Here are also some tips on how you can protect your nails;
1.	If you’re washing the dishes, it’s best to put on a glove to protect your nails from prolonged soaking in water. This also makes your nails brittle and breaks easily.
2.	Moisturize your nail beds with Bobbie Cuticle Oil. I bought mine from Landmark a long time ago; I’m not sure about the price anymore since mine have faded off.
3.	One important care for your nails is to give them a break from nail polish as much as possible; too much of it would make your nails turn yellow or “sick.”
4.	In-take of vitamins also promotes good nail growth, so you also might want to look into it.

I know, I know. I’ve been ranting about getting a vacation and stuff, but here I am rotting like a prune, not that I’m saying that prunes are rotten, whatever, my point is that I have been really wanting a vacation but I don’t really have any resource right now. But for those of you who are planning to have one, here are some pointers. Locations, locations, if you’re looking into a more peaceful and quiet place to go, it is best to get there off-peak. Why? Chances are you’d just end up lying on the beach side by side with some dude who thinks that blasting off his boom box is cool. Another thought on location is find a place where you haven’t been there before, I mean there’s no point in experiencing outdoors if you’re always going to the same place. Importantly, know the location for your safety. Next is accommodation; if you find Scotland a good place to explore, you might want to look up your hotel reservation at Hotels at Stornoway Airport, especially if this is your first time, it would be best to explore the nearest place first before wandering off. You can compare prices if you prefer a bed and breakfast, find a budget hotel room, luxury guest house etc. The next important thing of course is the plane ticket price; if you think that connecting flights is cheaper, you might want to look for another alternative because more often, when you go to the counter and ask for your flight number, routed flights don’t usually show up on the computer. Find a better alternative, if possible, have another airline address or number tucked in somewhere in your pocket.
Do you need a car to drive you around? Most hotels offer this type of service and by looking up your ticket, you might also find suggestions on these. Well, that’s about I can say and have a good trip!

This is what they call Jeggings, it’s a combination of jeans and leggings. Confused? Jeggings are made out of stretch jean material, or a legging with stretch fabric which is pattered to look like jeans, kind of mimic jeans with its finer mesh material. The difference of course is that this doesn’t use zippers, but it has a waistband instead. This type of clothing is great and comfortable to wear because of its stretch and light material, and depending on your taste, you can opt to buy a more natural looking style and pair it off with a more broad and longer top, that you can also pair off with a vest and high or ankle boots for cooler weathers. This can also look great with sneakers, for those who work out and would like to wear something comfortable and stylish at the same time while working out, and an inch heel sandal for tropical weathers like the Philippines. You just have to remember though that since a Jeggings hug your leg and thighs, there will always be a possibility of fashion blunder because wearing a little bit short shirt would reveal everything, especially those who aren’t used to wearing thongs, panty lines will be visible, or if you are on the heavy side, bulging tummies will be chunked in, so be mindful of what you pair it with.

I noticed a rapid growth in the webhosting industry from when I started in 2000, before the only popular ones I knew are tripod and geocities, but now you will find variety of offers and discounts from different hosting companies. However, you need to be wise in choosing the company where you want your site to be hosted. That is why you need to look for web host directories that showcases the top ranked companies that have been carefully examined so that you will not only find the kind of service that will suit your blogging needs, you also have the assurance that you will not encounter any problems with making a mistake of getting hosted by companies that pose as legitimate hosting sites. This is why we have hosting reviews and directories; they also help us understand how to manage our own sites through their tutorials. So if you’re looking for hosting and you want to make sure, you can either check out with your friends about their hosting service or you can look for hosting awards mark for assurance.
