A while back on my other blog Pink Candy Glitters, I was talking about my friend taking a vacation in Bora. She and her fiancé do this often and they travel across Asia. We were having fun in our conversation and as Filipino, we have this thing when a friend or person is traveling, we kid them by sending us photo postcards to remember them by. These types of cards are actually more personalized and this foster creativity in a person, what’s more is that you will really get the feel of your friend or loved-one having fun. I also have my own personal collection of postcards coming from different parts of the world, I love reading them from time to time and it brings nostalgia. I remember this one person, in a convention that I accidentally attended, handing me a really creative photo postcard where it had on it the photo of his child in a crib while he and the wife lovingly gazes on their beautiful child, the feel of the photo postcards is priceless, because it doesn’t just serve as a memoriam, but also sharing thoughts that words can never say.

Well, my friend will not only be sending me a postcard, she also said that she’d send me a real nice gift from her trip. Good enough!

Earlier, on our way to the mall to pay for my broadband, my daughter asked me if we’re heading to a heavy traffic, I told her that the coming and going is the traffic, now when they seem to be stuck for a long time, that’s called traffic jam. Her mind wandered, looking at the shiny Toyota Camry who’s behind the FX taxi. Being the inquisitive she is, she asked me if cars needs frequent auto repair and I told her that cars needs to be in a tip-top shape before they are driven, check engine light if it’s working and if the car has a full tank gas, to ensure safety not only for the driver but for the passengers as well. I guess she was satisfied with my answers and she continued enjoying the cars that would pass us by.
