My plans of moving is pushing through, I’ve actually spoken to two prospective land lords; the reason is because of my current landlord’s inability to manage her money. There’s too many bills for her to pay and very little for the tenants to have, especially water. She has been encouraging me to get loans elsewhere so I can give her the money to pay her bills to continue our water connection, but I told her that it’s going to be a burden for me to accumulate bad credit loans, especially with the people that I already established my credibility with. You see, if you need to get loans especially if you have a bad credit score, you need to know if you can still keep up, because chances are, even the clothes that you wear today will be taken from you if you’re not careful with your dealings with money, so to speak. Before you engage in unsecured personal loans, it is best to create a list of the bills you need to pay, scroll them down and take note of the most important ones, and when you’re able to screen which ones you should be taking into priority, then you will be able to handle your money more wisely.
So anyway, it does pay to keep a little notepad in your pocket and list all your expenditures in a day down.

As a virtual assistant, even if you’re working at home, life can still be demanding. Yes your time is in your own hands; however, the same kind of responsibility is still on your shoulder. First and foremost, you have to set-up your alarm at the right time, or you can have it synchronized to your jobs’ to avoid being late. Once your clock alarms, you need to wake up on it, or you might get late for work, and you won’t have any traffic excuses. Organize your document workflow management, this way, you won’t get lost through those entire task that needs urgent attention, this will sort out your activities and help you accomplish the day’s work. If it helps, you can commit to making a daily entry or breakdown of your job, making sure that you tick or put a mark on the particular assignment that’s been done. Another good way of lessening the stressors in your life is learning how to say “no” to jobs that’s not stipulated in your contract. Sometimes, being nice to your client or employer is good because it have its perks, but getting too much load when you don’t really need to do it, is something that both of you should avoid and to prevent your client-provider relationship from turning sour. And lastly, accept that you also have your limitations, when it’s the end of your work time or day, then call it a day.

I have been planning of relocating to another place that’s near my children’s school, and there are a lot of reasons that I’m considering before I do this because I don’t want to find myself stuck in a place that I’m going to regret in a couple of weeks. So, lately I have been searching for resources that would help me decide on what to do and look for that includes transportation routes, the vicinity if it’s going to give me a hard time with finding the easiest way to travel, cost of living in that area and the environment that would be the biggest factor in my settlement. Because I teach English to Koreans at home, and sometimes take in Virtual Assistant projects, I need a quiet place to run my business. Another concern is also the access to certain services like how near is the market, postcard mailing services, hospitals for when we have emergencies, and the most important of all -the ATM machines! Generally speaking, the environment and the type of services has the biggest effect in your family life and living, because as a rule the most basic things you need should be accessible and most of the time too. But of course, the first step that I’m going to take is to look for a place near the school.

I won’t be online most of the time because I need to run errands, one of them is to look for Weight Loss Recipes for my bestfriend, and so I had to go out and find a good nutritionist to ask so we can gather a good regimen for her. I was at the market one time and I found a Korean bazaar store that sells cute Korean Wall Stickers, and bought me two, I excitedly went home and plastered them on my “dirty” wall. I found a couple more that looks a lot cheerful, colorful and urban at the same time, but since I have to be wise and pick the perfect place to stick them, I thought about my huge dresser mirror and my lonely bedroom wall.

In other countries like the Philippines, Graffitti is a crime, but I think I’ve chosen the perfect place to do my vandalism, hehe.

I am worried sick about my rent! I was caught off-guard. This is not my first time to rent in an apartment, however, I can’t find any reason for my comparing my rent receipts with the former places that I lived because this is now a different place, and different landlord.

As a result, most of my time was spent on the computer looking for opportunities to write or bid. Just imagine the stress that I’ve accumulated overtime with just checking my emails from time to time, even while I was at School teaching. I’d wake up in the morning and immediately running to my computer just to check any opps from my bids, but there was none for now. No task assigned to me at all. Sometimes, when I talk to people, they think that I’m living an easy life, however, they just see the fruit of my labor but don’t see the behind-the-scenes of it. How I worry, how I react to my children’s behaviours when I’m worried, etc. Speaking of which, I am still waiting for my cheque payment from one of the people that I wrote 12 articles from which will help a bit, it’s for PHP419.31, I got two words: Christmas Rush!

Many people may not realize the kind of pressure that’s placed on the shoulders of a stay at home moms, especially single mothers. When bills start to come in, there’s a lot of pressure like its too much to handle. Most of the time, I really don’t know where to start. Like right now, when I came here. But any ways, here’s what I’m going to do, list all my bills, cross the ones that’s been paid and prepare for the next. Once I’ve crossed out all these bills, there should be extra for us come January. I’m sure of it.

Meanwhile, I have found a new website that speaks about surviving motherhood, it’s Busy Mommy Media by Busy Mommy. I find it entertaining, educational and really helpful. I read most of the articles that really hit home. I especially identified with Home schooling, because for a while, my children were out-of-school youths, because of their behaviours, not the problematic child type, but simply interrupted due to the stress of coming from a broken home. At the time, I’m also a working mom. And in here, was a topic written on how to sort out your day when home schooling your child. You may think that only those primary students or special children takes these types of lesson, but a mom actually does this even when the child is still small. We teach them the alphabet, shapes and primary color types. I would recommend that new moms read the article because it will give you an idea on how to teach your child proper scheduling, you’d be surprised how it helps you too in managing your busy time.

As much as possible, I also try to take care of myself, and many people don’t know that I own quality make-ups, not branded but quality, it’s for the mere reason that my skin is sensitive to additives, and by reading, I found out that Aluminum Lake dyes can cause break-outs, probably it, so it’s a lesson learned. So, after all this money problems, I’m listing down mineral make-ups for my personal grooming kit for when I go to school and teach. Make-up can make people presentable.

Interesting how a one site would have every information a stay at home mom needs, I also found her concepts inspiring.

Soo…back to my drawing board, l need to bid for more opps!
