Have you ever wondered how you can maximize the use of office supplies? I’m not talking about making a paper clip into a heart or folding papers into a dinosaur, but I fund a really great idea on how you can transform wire storage cubes into something more, organize anything with Wire Storage Cubes into a kitchen storage for drinking glasses on a wooden tray, or pots and pans in organized sizes. The wire storage cubes can be easily separated and putting the components together again for different use. You can place this inside your bedroom and assembled for your favorite books for hand reach, notebooks and notepads that you need for school but don’t usually bring everyday, or a stuff toy rack. And the good thing about it is that you can easily tear it apart when you need to move or store it away, plus you won’t have to worry about accumulating dusts because of it’s open wire structure. Pretty neat right? I’m going to get a set for my new apartment.

Happy blog walking!

Did you know that in some parts of the world there’s what we call a recreational vehicle park? The vehicle is called an RV and it’s like a house and a car in one; you can always bring your home with you wherever you go. Some RV’s usually attached to the rear of the car or van. Usually these places are referred to as caravan park, a place where you can go and pitch on a campground and enjoy Mother Nature. If only I have an RV and can also go at a recreational park and spend time walking beside a lake or river, just listen to its sounds, I’m sure it’s going to be very relaxing, to be away the noisy and busy streets of the city life.

I wish to own a motor home, so I can be free and move around whenever I want and never have to worry about renting or even deal with landlords, just like I’m having right now. Some can really be wearisome. How can I say it? Well, these types of recreational vehicle normally have kitchens, bathrooms a bed and living room for the whole family to enjoy, and which is just typical or more common in some parts of the world. Plus the fact that I can always move out to a different area if some neighbours gets too nosy.

This afternoon, my daughter and I went down to a home furniture shop to look for Bedroom Sets for our new apartment. I know it’s been long overdue and we really need to get a new one because my air bed gave up on us, and a more sturdy bed is what we need. Usually when I look for a bed, first I inspect it’s made; is it wood, is it sturdy enough to handle three people, and will it fit my bedroom. Actually, our new rooms can only fit a single bed, so I’m watching out for a double bed, the kind that you can tuck in under the other one. I’m sure you get the picture of what I mean. Bedroom sets can come in the form of metal or wood, and my choice is the latter, although I’m finding the metal ones more affordable than the wood one, mainly because I have to realize that trees aren’t that easy to grow, but in a way, is it the same with the metals? Well, I think you only need to melt the old one to create new ones, unlike trees. So anyway, there’s a store that I found at one of our local market place, and the salespeople seems nice too, I just need to figure out my budget if I will really buy one.

I have been planning of relocating to another place that’s near my children’s school, and there are a lot of reasons that I’m considering before I do this because I don’t want to find myself stuck in a place that I’m going to regret in a couple of weeks. So, lately I have been searching for resources that would help me decide on what to do and look for that includes transportation routes, the vicinity if it’s going to give me a hard time with finding the easiest way to travel, cost of living in that area and the environment that would be the biggest factor in my settlement. Because I teach English to Koreans at home, and sometimes take in Virtual Assistant projects, I need a quiet place to run my business. Another concern is also the access to certain services like how near is the market, postcard mailing services, hospitals for when we have emergencies, and the most important of all -the ATM machines! Generally speaking, the environment and the type of services has the biggest effect in your family life and living, because as a rule the most basic things you need should be accessible and most of the time too. But of course, the first step that I’m going to take is to look for a place near the school.

Yuppers, I have a lot of laundries to and dishes to wash, so what am I doing here? My Christmas was actually spent looking for opportunities, submitting and writing reviews. It’s not that I’m too Scrooge to get out, it’s just that I disliked crazy outdoors. I don’t want to run around chasing after rides or squeezing with the other people like there’s a stampede going on. So my day passed by quietly.

We watched a whole series of Barbie movies. I have to admit, I’m liking it, and going to look for more next week! ^____^

Okay, I’m off to my chores now!

If you like sleeping on a nice bed, then you’d love lying down on a soft bed with really nice comforter set! I found Down Comforter Sets as a good resource for those soft bedding sets you’ll really love to have. For instance, I found a Tommy Hilfiger All American Denim Comforter, and I really liked the design. The beauty of having a comforter set is that it instantly turns your bedroom like a posh hotel suite, making it really inviting for a tired body to rest on. You can also find and shop for Hotel Bedding Sets here too! My fondness for bed comforters began with a visit to a friend staying in a five star hotel one time. I was so amazed of the soft beddings and the colors were so attractive to my eyes, aside from that, it’s so heavenly just to lie down on the bed. Thus, an idea came to mind, and searched for these soft bedding sets. So, if you are looking for enhancements for your beloved room, but not enough funds for a full make-over, you can check out this website that I am telling you about so you can start shopping for your very own Down Comforter Sets.

I am worried sick about my rent! I was caught off-guard. This is not my first time to rent in an apartment, however, I can’t find any reason for my comparing my rent receipts with the former places that I lived because this is now a different place, and different landlord.

As a result, most of my time was spent on the computer looking for opportunities to write or bid. Just imagine the stress that I’ve accumulated overtime with just checking my emails from time to time, even while I was at School teaching. I’d wake up in the morning and immediately running to my computer just to check any opps from my bids, but there was none for now. No task assigned to me at all. Sometimes, when I talk to people, they think that I’m living an easy life, however, they just see the fruit of my labor but don’t see the behind-the-scenes of it. How I worry, how I react to my children’s behaviours when I’m worried, etc. Speaking of which, I am still waiting for my cheque payment from one of the people that I wrote 12 articles from which will help a bit, it’s for PHP419.31, I got two words: Christmas Rush!

Many people may not realize the kind of pressure that’s placed on the shoulders of a stay at home moms, especially single mothers. When bills start to come in, there’s a lot of pressure like its too much to handle. Most of the time, I really don’t know where to start. Like right now, when I came here. But any ways, here’s what I’m going to do, list all my bills, cross the ones that’s been paid and prepare for the next. Once I’ve crossed out all these bills, there should be extra for us come January. I’m sure of it.

Meanwhile, I have found a new website that speaks about surviving motherhood, it’s Busy Mommy Media by Busy Mommy. I find it entertaining, educational and really helpful. I read most of the articles that really hit home. I especially identified with Home schooling, because for a while, my children were out-of-school youths, because of their behaviours, not the problematic child type, but simply interrupted due to the stress of coming from a broken home. At the time, I’m also a working mom. And in here, was a topic written on how to sort out your day when home schooling your child. You may think that only those primary students or special children takes these types of lesson, but a mom actually does this even when the child is still small. We teach them the alphabet, shapes and primary color types. I would recommend that new moms read the article because it will give you an idea on how to teach your child proper scheduling, you’d be surprised how it helps you too in managing your busy time.

As much as possible, I also try to take care of myself, and many people don’t know that I own quality make-ups, not branded but quality, it’s for the mere reason that my skin is sensitive to additives, and by reading, I found out that Aluminum Lake dyes can cause break-outs, probably it, so it’s a lesson learned. So, after all this money problems, I’m listing down mineral make-ups for my personal grooming kit for when I go to school and teach. Make-up can make people presentable.

Interesting how a one site would have every information a stay at home mom needs, I also found her concepts inspiring.

Soo…back to my drawing board, l need to bid for more opps!

As you know, we just moved to a new apartment, and my room has plain white walls and red flooring. I’m thinking that a nice Oriental Area Rug can accentuate any room, and you can also have a theme with the use of area rugs, and I want a retro theme for my new room. My children have also been suggesting for us to get an area rug for them to sit on while watching movies on DVD, they are also asking when we can go and look for real nice and decent cheap rugs, because it will make our little room nice and comfy. Now, since I cannot practically go to a mall right now, and look around, I just searched for some samples of discount area rugs online, and found some really nice ones at Superiorrugs.com. I’ve come across with their website before, and they have a wide variety of high quality area rugs at affordable prices, and we also found designs that we would like to have for our small room and the area that joins our living and dining room. This is not my first time to buy one, and experience taught me that for a longer life span, rugs will need proper care and cleaning, and rug care tips is also found in this website, this is for me, a good customer service. Looking through each design was not a problem, thanks to the easy navigation on the website, I was able to find the right color, size and design for the one that I’m looking for my room, what’s more is that you can get 80% off on selected area rug which is a good savings to the customers. Ordering from them is easy, all you have to do is just log on to their website, browse their gallery, choose your color and design, and fill in the order form, you will be informed of the shipment of your order. They also have a contact number just in case you have questions about your online purchase.

And since Christmas is just around the corner, I’m sure we would have fun opening our presents while taking pictures, sitting on the floor with our new area rugs.

The tile of our new apartment needs some fixing, but I want to attempt a do-it-yourself type of tiling. I’m sure it would be fun to mash the grout, and the kitchen is need of a good old spraying, there’s a few icky crawlers, probably got interrupted from their hibernation when the last folks moved out. I’ve done cleaning the place too, so most of our stuff are now properly arranged, just need to do a lot of laundry.
