It’s been a long time since I visited my Cafe World in Facebook. I guess, I’ve gotten tired playing it, and I have this bad habit of getting bored easily.

Café World is just one of the thousand applications that Facebook provides to it’s members, it’s a virtual diner that you need to manage and expand. In this game, you need to invite neighbors where you earn points by visiting. Once you’re earning points and money, you can purchase expansion and decorate your diner.

For the first time players, you are provided a small diner, complete with basic tables, counter tops and stove. You will also need to hire an assistant. As you gain points, and your diner grows, you can hire more workers. This is going to be one of your first task, by hiring your friends to work for you.

Click on the stove to make the menu appear, and choose the food that you want to cook for your customers.

Click the stove in order for you to chop and cook the food.
Once the food is cooked and ready, you again click the stove and the cook (which is you) will put the food at the counter top, which your assistants will serve to the customers.

Customizing your Avatar: In your diner, you’re the boss and the chef. To change your doll’s appearance, click on it and a window will appear. Start editing the doll to your liking.

Customizing your Café:
1. Hover your mouse on the wooden chair and a word “Customise” should appear. Click the wooden chair.
2. Hover your mouse over the screw-like icon, it will say “Functional.” Click the screw-like icon.
3. Hover your mouse over the brick wall, it will say “Expand Café’ this will show you how much expansion you might want to have.

It’s up to you to decide how you would like to decorate your café. When you click on the wooden chair, you will find submenu’s with options like flooring, wallpapers, tables and chairs and other decorations like plants. Everything will be too expensive, so it’s best to gather points first by cooking and gaining more customers. And there is a trick here too, I will talk about as we go along.

Gifts
Playing this game will be more fun if you add friends as your neighbors. You can give and receive gifts, this way, when you don’t have time to cook and you have customers coming in, your friend’s gifts can serve as a temporary replacement for the food. You can exchange food gifts to your friends like special dishes, cookies, etc. You can find them in the cook book.

Keeping an eye on the cooking time!
Café World has time frame for each dish, so better be careful not to burn or it will waste. If you neglect the dish that you’re cooking, you will find it all spoiled and a fly hovering over it. When you do, just click on the stove to get it cleaned.

Tip: To gain more points and make the process quick and easy for you. What you need to do is to conceal the Chef and the Assistants in their respective counters. If you’d look at the first image above, you will see that my Chef is only within her stove and cooking, while the Waiters are trapped at the counters. My chairs and tables are also aligned in such a way for the customers to get into the table fast and easy. When a customer sits in, instantly the food appears on the table, when finished eating, the table instantly gets cleaned!
